About

Tenth Point is a community garden nonprofit in West Oakland. Our first location is at 1009 Chester Street, where we are beginning to build a presence and community in the neighborhood. We grow free fruits and vegetables year round. Stop by anytime to harvest or hang out with us! Look out for upcoming workshops and events or check out our calendar.

Mission

Our mission is to increase community access to locally grown, fresh, nutritious food through land-based learning opportunities. With a special focus on childhood education, we teach kids about where their food comes from and how to grow it while providing an opportunity to connect with the land and its history. We give our community the tools they need to continue the fight for food sovereignty.
